Understanding
Mold Illness/CIRS

This page is intended to serve as your primary resource for articles, videos, links, and plans to help you manage Mold Illness, also known as Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS). The resources on this page will help you take proactive steps to mitigate its effects, and Flourish! If you are looking for something that you do not see on this page, please do not hesitate to let us know!

As a Flourish Member dealing with mold illness, you will be invited to group Zoom appointments/meetings designed to share knowledge and planning in a collaborative setting.

To Be Understood

One of the things I hear a lot from my patients is a feeling of not being understood, or having their symptoms written off as “being in their head”. It can be difficult and tiresome to try to explain what you are going through to friends, family, and co-workers. To address this, with the help of some of my patients, I have pulled together a video that explains mold illness to the layperson that you can share. The video can be accessed through the link below that takes you to a public page. On that page, you can use the share buttons to email or text the video or share on your social media platform of choice.

Understand what is going on in your body and why you feel the way you do so you can move forward as you feel you are able.
